PROCEDURES - GETTING THE JOB DONE

Quotation Prepared: All customers will be provided with a written treework specification, including terms and conditions, relating to a fixed price quotation.

Acceptance of Quotation: Tree Craft will contact the relevant Local Planning Authority (LPA) to confirm whether or not the trees are; within a Conservation Area, or covered by a Tree Preservation Order (TPO).
Where necessary we will notify the LPA that we propose to work on trees within a conservation area, they then have six weeks to object to any work by making a TPO.
If trees are covered by a TPO we will send an application to the LPA, which provides them with the full specification for the works we propose. We will need to provide them with your contact details to allow them to arrange a site visit to see the trees and consider the impact of our proposals. Most TPO applications are processed by the LPA within an eight week period.

Work Booked In: When the necessary authority has been provided by the LPA, in writing. The treework will be booked for a day, which is most suitable for you. Wherever possible this will be within 2-3 weeks of your confirmation or authority to complete the work being received from the LPA.
