Experienced and competent advice is essential when considering any kind of treework. ArborEcology Ltd, was established by Andrew Cowan in 2002 to provide professional advice and practical assistance to ecologists, conservationists, developers, insurers, land/estate managers and private individuals.
The aim of the company is to provide reliable independent advice, on arboricultural and ecological issues. We are ultimately aware of the environmental impact of uninformed decisions, and that solutions, have to be both ecologically and economically sustainable.
Andrew has a practical history in arboriculture having worked in the industry since 1986, establishing a contract company (Tree Craft Ltd) in 1994. He has a pragmatic approach, working well with engineers, architects, surveyors, builders, ecologists and members of the public.
ArborEcology combines a knowledge of Arboriculture, as the management of trees, with the understanding of Ecology and the importance of appreciating the function of ecosystems.
